"While tax law, estates law, real estate law and corporate law are each individually valuable in myriad ways, it is the combination and interaction between these areas that distinguish good solutions from great ones. Our multi-disciplinary practice can ensure that you get the right solution for any business context, but also that the solution you receive works harmoniously with the whole of your financial picture."

As a former entrepreneur and construction worker, Bernard Buschke understands the value that hard work has in building something that lasts. Bernard is passionate about tax and corporate law, not just because the books are so interesting, but also because of the immense positive results these areas can have for hardworking people looking to build successful enterprises.

Bernard primarily works with our taxation and business law groups to develop results-oriented strategies to ensure that your reorganization, acquisition or sale proceeds along the most efficient and effective path, both for the future of your business and your family. With Bernard, the focus is always on putting you and your family in the best possible position for the future.

Bernard is also an aggressive advocate where necessary, who nonetheless tries to find common ground in arriving at solutions that benefit all involved parties. He is a capable litigator in both tax litigation and civil litigation contexts, with experience litigating against the Department of Justice as well as individual litigants in civil proceedings.

Prior to joining CCSB, Bernard ran his own law practice, Buschke Law, which focused on tax law and litigation.
