"Clients come to us for reassurance that they’re doing the right things to ensure sustainable growth and success for their companies from a legal perspective. The depth of knowledge and level of support that we provide gives them faith that they are acting in the best interests of their businesses and families."

With a background in business and finance, Daniel Cooper brings a practical perspective to advising corporate and commercial clients. But he also brings something that you may not find in other business lawyers – a genuine desire to be that voice of reason, reassuring clients that they are on the right path and offering strategic advice when they go astray.

Fuelled by a passion for learning about new businesses, industries, and technologies, Daniel strives to be clear in his explanations, quick in his response time, and always there when clients need him. In his corporate and commercial practice, Daniel assists clients with buying or selling their businesses, shareholder agreements, purchase agreements, privacy policies, contract reviews, employment issues, secured transactions, financing, and general corporate issues.

Since joining CCSB in 2014 as an articling student, Daniel has become a valuable asset to the business law practice, enabling the firm to deliver on its promise of exceptional service at a fair price.
